SUPER CHEF 2025
IIHM Crowns Its Rising Culinary Stars
The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) has proudly announced the winners of Super Chef 2025, celebrating outstanding young culinary talent of student chefs across its campuses. The competition, one of IIHM’s most prestigious annual events, recognises the top performers from each campus and prepares them for the next big stage—YCO India Selection Grand Finale. These champions will now compete against Young Chef India participants from other colleges in India and the emerging winner will proudly represent India at the Young Chef Olympiad (YCO) 2026.
Dr. Suborno Bose, Chairman, IIHM Young Chef Olympiad and Chairman, IIHM Worldwide, reaffirmed the importance of the platform, stating that Super Chef identifies the best third-year culinary students from all IIHM campuses. “Winning is just a moment, but building yourself into a strong global culinary professional is the true goal,” he said, emphasizing that past finalists have gone on to achieve remarkable careers.
Chef Sanjay Kak, Culinary Director, IIHM, explained that Super Chef 2025 was one of the toughest editions yet, featuring advanced cooking challenges, tight ingredient baskets, and expert judges from the industry. The winners from each campus will now receive detailed briefing documents and begin rigorous training ahead of the final selection rounds.
Across campuses—including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Goa, Jaipur, and Pune—the winners demonstrated exceptional technical skill, innovation, and plate presentation.
The YCO India Selection Grand Finale will take place on 3rd December in Bangalore, where finalists will face a three-part challenge testing knife skills, main-course excellence, and dessert precision. With immense pride, IIHM congratulates all winners of Super Chef 2025 and wishes them the very best as they step forward towards their summit attempt to represent India on the global culinary stage.
