IIHM and Indismart Digital Launch AI-LEAP
The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), in association with Indismart Digital, today launched AI-LEAP — the National AI Literacy Education Acceleration Program, along with the country’s first comprehensive AI in Education Manifesto. The launch marks a historic milestone in preparing India’s youth for an AI-driven world.
The Manifesto lays out a clear national framework for responsible, inclusive and values-led AI literacy grounded in the belief that technology must make us more human, not less. It defines core principles of ethical AI use, hands-on learning, creativity and student empowerment.
In his keynote address, IIHM Chairman Dr Suborno Bose described the initiative as “India’s collective leap of faith into a future shaped by imagination, integrity and intelligent innovation.”
The event featured special addresses by leaders from government, global AI experts and academia, along with a live demonstration of India’s first education-focused Competitive Prep GPT developed by Indismart Digital.
AI-LEAP aims to take AI literacy to schools nationwide through public–private collaboration, teacher enablement, and student-led innovation. The program positions India not merely as a user of AI, but as a creator of real-world solutions driven by young minds.
