— IIHM Calcutta Hospitality Cup 2026 ends on a high with ITC Royal Bengal emerging champions
The IIHM Calcutta Hospitality Cup 2026 concluded on a high note with two days of spirited cricket, bringing together 19 teams from Kolkata’s hospitality and corporate sectors in a celebration of sport, camaraderie and industry bonding.
A special highlight of the event was the much-anticipated General Managers’ Match, where the Calcutta Tigers took on the Calcutta Lions. The friendly match saw senior hospitality leaders swap boardrooms for the cricket field, focussing on teamwork, leadership, wellness, and the enduring spirit of the hospitality fraternity beyond professional roles.
After a series of closely contested matches, ITC Royal Bengal emerged champions of the IIHM Calcutta Hospitality Cup 2026, displaying exceptional consistency, skill, and determination throughout the tournament. JW Marriott Kolkata finished as the worthy runners-up after an equally commendable run.
The semi-finals provided some of the tournament’s most competitive moments. ITC Royal Bengal secured its place in the final with a victory over IndiGo, while JW Marriott Kolkata defeated Taj Bengal to set up the championship clash.
Individual performances also stood out. Sagnik De of ITC Royal Bengal was named Man of the Tournament for his all-round contribution and also received the Best Batsman award, playing a key role in his team’s title-winning campaign. Priyabrata Dash of JW Marriott Kolkata was adjudged Best Bowler for his exceptional bowling performances and match-winning contributions.
