Dr. Suborno Bose Honoured for Excellence

The IIHM Founder-Chairman recognised for over three decades of transforming hospitality education in India

Dr. Suborno Bose, Founder-Chairman & Chief Mentor of the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), was honoured with the Iconic Excellence in Hospitality Education Award at the prestigious ICONIC Awards held at ITC Maurya, New Delhi. The award was presented by Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

The recognition comes at a significant moment for India’s rapidly growing tourism and hospitality sector. In his keynote, Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar highlighted the remarkable rise in domestic tourism, the Dekho Apna Desh initiative, and the industry’s growing focus on sustainability, innovation and changing traveller expectations.

For over three decades, Dr. Suborno Bose has been at the forefront of hospitality education in India, building IIHM into a recognised institution for aspiring hospitality professionals.
