IIHM Bangalore celebrated World Youth Day 2026 with ‘Skill Thrill Gen Z’, bringing together creativity, competition, critical thinking and hospitality skills. Students took centre stage through two-minute idea pitches, contemporary culinary interpretations, short-form digital storytelling and the lively Dessert Island Debate. The celebrations also highlighted sustainability through posters, classroom initiatives and discussions on quality education, decent work and meaningful participation. With strong industry engagement through platforms such as Skal International Bangalore and Young Skal, the event encouraged students to connect classroom learning with the wider hospitality and tourism ecosystem. The celebration showcased Gen Z as creative, confident and future-ready hospitality professionals.
